Refund Policy

At Computer Institute of Technology & Educational Trust (CITET), we strive to provide quality education and services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued for course fees and other charges.

Full Refund (100%)

Students are eligible for a full refund if:

• Course cancellation by CITET before the start date
• Request made within 7 days of enrollment and no classes attended
• Duplicate payment made by error
• Technical issues preventing course access (verified by CITET)

Partial Refund (50%)

Students may receive a partial refund if:

• Request made within 15 days of enrollment
• Less than 25% of course completed
• Medical emergency with valid documentation
• Transfer to another course within CITET

No Refund

Refunds will NOT be issued if:

• More than 30 days have passed since enrollment
• Student has completed more than 25% of the course
• Student violated institute rules or terms of service
• Examination fees or certificate fees (once processed)
• Re-examination or supplementary fees
• Student changed their mind after starting the course

• Registration Fees: One-time registration charges are non-refundable
• Study Materials: Once issued, printed or digital materials are non-refundable
• Examination Fees: Fees paid for scheduled examinations
• Certificate Fees: Once certificates are issued or in process
• Processing Fees: Administrative and processing charges
• Late Fees: Penalties for late payment or submission

1. Submit Request: Email your refund request to [email protected] with subject line `Refund Request - [Your Name] - [Registration Number]`
2. Provide Details: Include your full name, registration number, course name, reason for refund, and supporting documents (if applicable)
3. Review Period: CITET will review your request within 7-10 business days
4. Approval/Rejection: You will be notified via email about the decision
5. Refund Processing: If approved, refunds will be processed within 15-30 business days

Refunds will be issued through the same payment method used for the original transaction:

• Bank Transfer/UPI: 7-10 business days
• Credit/Debit Card: 10-15 business days (depends on bank processing)
• Cash Payment: Refund via bank transfer only (provide bank details)

Note: Transaction fees and gateway charges are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.

As an alternative to refund, students may transfer to another course:

• Transfer must be requested within 30 days of enrollment
• Available only once per student
• Difference in course fees must be paid (if applicable)
• Subject to availability in the new course
• Transfer fee of ₹500 will be charged

CITET may consider refund requests outside the standard policy in exceptional cases:

• Serious illness or injury (medical certificate required)
• Death in immediate family (death certificate required)
• Natural disasters or emergencies
• Military deployment or relocation

These requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the management.

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may escalate your concern to our management team at [email protected] with subject line `Refund Dispute - [Registration Number]`. We will review and respond within 15 business days.

CITET reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
